We are writers, and Story is at the core of all the work at Slow Burn.
 
The Slow Burn Story Lab is the side of the business where compelling narrative happens outside the tidy container of “marketing.”
 
It includes everything from the naked truth of live presentation to the intense collaboration of feature-film screenwriting.
 
At the end of the day, the medium is not the message. Only the story matters.

V-Life
Undead friends can be the family you choose. (You just can’t invite them to the bat mitzvah.) A contemporary road dramedy following Sugar Bernstien and the unhinged lives of 21st-century RV-living vampires. (Presently represented by Aevitas Creative Management.)

This sequel to the award-winning, #1-selling Free The Pizza tells the story of New York-style pizza—how it happened, how it changed the world through the efforts of a free-wheeling, Italian immigrant entrepreneur, and how anyone can turn their home oven into a New York-style pizza machine with minimal effort and expense.

Dramatic feature screenplay based on the Ron Suskind Wall Street Journal story about a schoolteacher who convinces a group of impoverished, South Bronx high-school students that college is their future—changing their lives and saving their school from the wrecking ball.
